All in God’s Time

This was the third time we ran ALPHA in Okinawa, Japan. We took every opportunity to make it fun and no pressure so attenders got really into inviting friends and family members. It grew from 3 to 8 to 10 to 29!!!! Here’s one example of how we took advantage of little known American holidays to culturally educate the Japanese in a fun way.

Here we showed attenders a fun way to celebrate Haloween by trick or treating. Newly initiated contacts gladly greeted these interesting folks at their doors and gave them whatever snack food they had. The 9 year old girl memorized the 10 commandments in 10 minutes using a mnemonic device Mary  Jo drew.

We finally baptized 12 and started a new church in 9 months.

I can hardly wait until we have enough support to go back overseas and start multiplying churches.

God bless you as you pray and support this ministry!
