Experiencing God

When one gets the hang of what is taught in the book Experiencing God, one lives out John 3:8: “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear it’s sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” When this teaching first hit the American Church in the 90s it sparked revival in many places. Then it got translated into many languages and signs and wonders occurred wherever the principles were prayerfully applied. Many miraculous stories are recorded in the 2008 version. Now Letters from a Modern Mystic gives practical help in nurturing such an abiding relationship with Christ. This is the melding of abiding (John 15) with Christ, keeping in step with Spirit (Gal 5), moving like the wind through life (John 3), and being Christ’s fellow worker (1 Cor 3). Post moderns and many dissatisfied Moderns long for this kind of faith that God will use to transform the world. He is transforming Japan and I pray he will do it in USA too. AMEN
Tomorrow I meet with the Uchida family to share the gospel. I covet prayer. Lord, only let me walk with you every day of the rest of my earthly life.
