The God of Surprises

It was challenging to get through the snow this morning but I am so glad it made it! The welcome was very warm and the worship was moving. Then I found out they had the first baptism in the new building planned. Image

I thank my friends who pray for Kyoko. She still has cancer but everytime I see her she says, “God has set my heart free!” She glows with the joy of the Lord even though her cancer treatments are especially challenging.

They told me they took our sermon on 2 Cor 5:14-21 to heart and now have 4 more baptisms planned in the next 3 months! I’m so proud of them! I was so blessed and humbled when they insisted that our spiritual DNA had spread to them and that they don’t plan for the baptisms to stop! The prayer thing that has already blessed so many has been translated into Japanese and I look forward to sending it to them today or tomorrow. They look forward to using if for heart change in believers and helping those just outside the family to “taste and see that the Lord is good.”
